1st Tamilnadu State Zonal Open Championships - South Zone
The 1st Tamilnadu State Zonal Open Championships - South Zone for U-10, U-13, U-15, Sub Junior, Junior and Senior will be conducted
from 29th to 30th August, 2026
at Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi - 628001.
Organized by The Archery Association of Tamilnadu (TAAT) which is affiliated to Tamilnadu State Olympic Association (TNOA), Sports Development Authority of Tamilnadu (SDAT), and Archery Association of India (AAI).

ANY ARCHER CAN PARTICIPATE!
1. Any registered archer from any respective districts that belong to the zone can participate in this Open Competition.
2. The Archer must have valid TAAT annual membership subscription for the year 2026 ( valid till December 31st 2026 )
3. Archers who have participated in any championship not approved by AAI ( Archery Association of India ) or TAAT ( The Archery Association of Tamilnadu ) in the last one year need not apply.
4. All entries close exactly at 5pm on 15th August, 2026.
5. No entry will be accepted after the deadline.
Entry Fee: Rs 1,000/- per category.

4. Dress Regulations:
- Compliant according to the World Archery Rules for athletes and coaches:
- No hunting-type camouflage is permitted on the field of play. This includes bows, arrows, quivers, clothing, hats and shoes.
- No jeans, blue denim or opened-toe shoes are allowed on the field of play.
6. Uniform: You may wear the regular official state Blue T-shirt and Black track with blue stripe print.
Please check the schedule before paying your fees.
Archer cannot participate in multiple age categories as this is one event.
Archer participating in the TAAT Intuitive category cannot participate in the AAI category and vice-versa.
Fees paid are non refundable under any circumstance.
Archers have to upload the Age and Address proof documents in the official TAAT portal (profile).
* Food, Boarding and lodging will not be provided. YOU MUST MAKE YOUR OWN ARRANGEMENTS FOR TRAVEL, FOOD AND ACCOMMODATION.
