19TH TAMILNADU STATE JUNIOR ARCHERY CHAMPIONSHIP
Date: 12th and 13th September, 2026
Venue: Erode Arts and Science College Playground, Rangampalayam, Erode - 638009.
Organized by The Archery Association of Tamilnadu (TAAT) which is affiliated to Tamilnadu State Olympic Association (TNOA), Sports Development Authority of Tamilnadu (SDAT), and Archery Association of India (AAI).

Official Tournament
This is the only official annual State Archery Championship conducted by the recognised state unit of Archery and medals and certificates won in this event only will be recognised by state and central govt for any credit in educational quota or employment quota under the sports category. Tamilnadu state govt recognises only this competition in Archery for the sports quota for employment.
ANY ARCHER CAN PARTICIPATE!
1. Any registered archer from any part of Tamilnadu can participate in this State Championship.
2. The Archer must have registered in TAAT by paying the annual membership subscription for the year 2026 ( valid till December 31st 2026 )
3. All entries close exactly at 5pm on 31st August, 2026.
4. No entry will be accepted after the deadline.
Entry Fee: Rs 1,200/- per category.

* The various categories under which the competitions will be conducted are as follows:
1. AGE CUT OFF
- Junior - born on or after 1st January, 2006
2. AAI CATEGORIES

5. Dress Regulations:
- Compliant according to the World Archery Rules for athletes and coaches:
- No hunting-type camouflage is permitted on the field of play. This includes bows, arrows, quivers, clothing, hats and shoes.
- No jeans, blue denim or opened-toe shoes are allowed on the field of play.
6. Uniform: You may wear the regular official state Blue T-shirt and Black track with blue stripe print.
* Fees paid are non refundable under any circumstance.
* Archers cannot participate in multiple age groups if the competition is happening at the same time.
* Archers who are participating in the U-10, U-13, U-15, Sub Junior and Junior categories should upload their Photo ID, Age and Address proof documents and Senior Archers should upload Photo ID and Address proof documents in the Profile section of the TAAT Archers Portal.
* YOU MUST MAKE YOUR OWN ARRANGEMENTS FOR TRAVEL, FOOD AND ACCOMMODATION.
