TAMILNADU's FIRST EVER "ARCHERY COACHES" training course!
The following have been provisionally selected for Tamilnadu's first Level 1 Club - Archery Coach certification course conducted by HU ARCHERY MISSION in association with The Archery Association of Tamilnadu (TAAT), from 1st to 7th September, 2019. The coaches training will be conducted by Shihan Hussaini, the Chief Coach for Tamilnadu State Archery and Level-3 certified by Archery's supreme body - World Archery (WA).
At the end of the course, there will be an exam conducted by TAAT resulting in certification. Holders of this certificate will be recognized by The Archery Association of Tamilnadu (TAAT) and qualified to teach beginners at the club level in Clubs, Schools, Colleges and other Institutions.
Level 1 certification is a must to progress to Level 2 District Coach and Level 3 State Coach.
The coaches must attend refreshers course every year to update themselves and renew their certification.

* Selected candidates are required to report at MGR Janaki College Archery Range, Adyar, Chennai from 3pm to 5pm on 31st August 2019 to fill in forms and register yourselves.
* Please bring 3 recent passport sized photos with you.
* Participants must make their own arrangements for accommodation and food.
* The sessions start daily at 8am (please finish your breakfast and arrive). There will be a lunch break between 1pm and 3pm. The sessions will get over daily at 6:30pm.
* There will be an exam on 7th September 2019 in the morning from 8am to 1pm conducted by The Archery Association of Tamilnadu (TAAT) for the participants.
* The certificates will be distributed at 5pm at the closing ceremony on 7th September 2019.

* Be a recognized Archery Coach, certified by HU ARCHERY MISSION in association with THE ARCHERY ASSOCIATION OF TAMILNADU (TAAT).
* Get trained directly by Tamilnadu's one and only WORLD ARCHERY certified - level - 3 coach and coach of coaches - Shihan Hussaini - HU who has been personally trained by the famous Archery expert coach Mr Pascal Colmaire - Director of Education - WORLD ARCHERY.
* Start your own Archery academy, be a coach in any school or college. Get employed by many institutions.
* Get respected as a duly certified Archery coach from Tamilnadu's only Archery association recognized by Tamilnadu Olympic Association (TNOA), Sports Development Authority of Tamilnadu (SDAT) and Archery Association of India (AAI). Archery Association of India is the only body recognized by WA - WORLD ARCHERY (Federation).
* Progress to higher levels of coaching in a planned, professional and profitable way with support at every level from TAAT.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Anyone above 18 years male or female can join the course. No maximum age limit. Anyone from anywhere in India can join.
* No previous knowledge or experience in Archery required.
* Must be motivated to be a leader in Archery coaching.
* Must be ready to abide by the rules and regulations of TAAT.
* Must get attached to the District Archery Association and abide by the rules of the district.
* Must be ready to attend refreshers course every year.
THE COURSE
* HU Archery Mission will conduct the hands on training for 7 days.
* HU Archery Mission will provide course material and equipment ( for practise ) for the course.
* TAAT will conduct the exams at the end of the course and issues certificates. The examination fees for the Level 1 Club Coach is Rs 150/- to be paid by cheque in favor of "The Archery Association of Tamilnadu". Anyone can attend the examination even if you have not attended the training course.
* The exams will be in a) Practical b) Written and c) Oral. Only candidates who clear the exams will be given certificates. The medium of language will be Tamil and English.
* Candidates must make arrangements for their food and accommodation.
* Classes will be held from 5:25 AM to 6:00 PM daily.
* There are only 16 seats per course which will be given on first come basis.
* The courses will be conducted every month.
* The course fee will be Rs 15,600/- which must be paid in favor of "HU Archery Mission". This will include coaching fees, equipment usage fees and shooting fees. Exam fees for TAAT will be Rs 150/-.
